By accessing or using Grid Genius (the "Service"), including our mobile application, web app at play.gridgenius.app, and website at gridgenius.app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Grid Genius is an AI-powered crossword puzzle application that generates unique puzzles using artificial intelligence. The Service includes daily challenges, custom puzzle creation, leaderboards, statistics tracking, and optional premium features available through in-app purchases.
To use certain features, you must sign in using Google or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Puzzles are generated by AI (Google Gemini). While we strive for quality, AI-generated content may occasionally contain errors or inaccuracies in clues or answers. We do not guarantee the accuracy of all generated content. If you encounter issues, please report them through the app.
Grid Genius offers optional premium features through auto-renewable subscriptions. The following plans are available:
Grid Genius may offer a free trial period for certain subscriptions. If offered, the trial provides full access to the subscription features for the specified duration. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Trial eligibility is limited to one per user.
Refund requests should be directed to the respective app store (Apple or Google), as we do not process payments directly.
The Grid Genius name, logo, design, and software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written permission.
Puzzles you create using the Service are for personal use. You may share puzzles through the app's built-in sharing features.
Your display name and puzzle completion data may be visible to other users through leaderboards and shared puzzles. By using these features, you consent to this public display. We reserve the right to remove inappropriate display names.
We aim to keep Grid Genius available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or available at all times.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Grid Genius and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first, and if necessary, through binding arbitration.
