When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo URL. We use Firebase Authentication to manage sign-in securely — we never see or store your password.

Gameplay Data

We store your puzzle progress, completion times, hint usage, streaks, and statistics to provide features like leaderboards, stats tracking, and daily challenge streaks.

Device & Usage Data

We collect basic analytics data such as device type, app version, and usage patterns to improve the app experience. We use Microsoft Clarity for website analytics, which may record anonymized session replays and heatmaps.

• Provide and maintain the Grid Genius service
• Track your puzzle progress, stats, and streaks
• Display leaderboards and community features
• Process in-app purchases and subscriptions

• Google AdMob — optional rewarded advertisements (free-tier users may watch ads to earn hints)

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Cloudflare's global infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication tokens, and access controls. While no system is 100% secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account and gameplay data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data (such as puzzle completion statistics) may be retained indefinitely.
